MEET THE OWNER

Matías isn't just the founder of Green Room Rehearsal Studios—he's a long-time community-builder in Ottawa's music and arts scene. With a history of almost ten years at the helm of Ottawa Showbox, he carved out a niche for himself and the city's music community, creating a platform for local artists to shine. The journey didn't stop there. Matías co-owned Cinqhole, a hub for DIY arts and music that became a beloved space until it closed in 2020 during the pandemic.

These experiences have not only shaped Matías, but have also had a part in shaping the city's cultural landscape. His dedication to the arts and the local community is the driving force behind green room rehearsal studios. Matías’ story is one of passion, resilience, and unwavering commitment to making Ottawa's music scene thrive against all odds.
